THE TRICK BROTHERS - PIGGY CIRCUS

PRAGUE NONVERBAL 17

Have you ever wanted a pig to have wings? Piggy circus will lure you to the world of two eccentrics who trust implicitly that if it were like this, the whole world would be more beautiful. Don´t expect any lewdness or smut, there is only tasteful piggy humour. Get carried away on pig´s wings and be sure that sturdy pigs, amazing wild sows as well as little piglets, in other words the whole family, will be on cloud nine. Upwards with a pig!
Piggy Circus is a street family performance of duo The Trick Brothers. This time they have made a street performance in which they introduce an absurd show to the audience. They will attract children as well as adults by their traditional juggling and manipulation with objects and they will also use some elements of puppetry and buffoonery.

Piggy supervision: Tomsa Legierski
Pigs made by: Jarmila Enochová
They play with the pigs: Adam Jarchovský, Václav Jelínek

THE TRICK BROTHERS /CZ

The history of the former duo The Trick Brothers goes back to the year 2009 when Václav Jelínek and Adam Jarchovský performed at the festival of New Circus called Letní Letná (Summer Letná). In the following years they performed at many prestigious Czech festivals, e.g. the festival of New Circus in Trutnov called Cirk-UFF or again Letní Letná in Prague. They also performed abroad, e.g. at the biggest festival of juggling European Juggling Convention in Joensu, Finland, and at Europe Day in Madrid.
Since the beginning they have been cooperating with the civic association Artists 4 Children with whom they regularly visit children from socially neglected regions of the world, such as Palestine, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, India. Their other pedagogical activity is linked to the Centre of New Circus called Cirqueon where both men teach juggling. Václav Jelínek, a graduate of the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre, teaches juggling and manipulation at the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts, the Department of Pantomime.
In 2010 The Trick Brothers became a part of a company of street theatre called V.O.S.A. Theatre. In the same year together they represented the Czech Republic at EXPO in Shanghai. There they met Kristýna Vlčková, a tightrope walker, a juggler, the graduate of L´École De Cirque de Bordeaux in France. It occurred them that they could cooperate under the name of Trio in a Trick and the result of their cooperation is the performance RIVERSIDE.
